Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of genkoreanbbq.com and related pages, forms, and programs (the "Site"), operated by GEN Restaurant Group, Inc. ("GEN," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to use the Site and at least 18 to join GEN Loyalty or receive marketing messages. Any references to alcoholic beverages are intended only for guests of legal drinking age (21+).

2. GEN Loyalty program

  • Membership is free, limited to one account per person, and requires accurate information: name, email, mobile number, and birthday. You may choose a preferred location; if you don't, your account is assigned to GEN Cerritos.
  • Points, rewards, and offers have no cash value, are not transferable, cannot be sold or bartered, and may expire. Participation and redemption at each restaurant may vary, and all are subject to availability and to the program rules shown at sign-up, in the app, or in-restaurant.
  • We may modify, suspend, or end the program, or any reward, at any time, to the extent permitted by law. We may also close accounts involved in fraud, abuse, or violations of these Terms.
  • The program is administered on our behalf by our loyalty platform provider, Qubriux.
  • The program is void where prohibited.

3. Text messages and email

Text messaging is governed by our SMS Terms. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase.

4. Menu, pricing, and allergens

Menus, prices, hours, promotions, and availability vary by location and may change without notice. Photos are for illustration. Our food may contain or come into contact with common allergens, including milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy, and sesame. Please tell your server about any allergy. Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness. Online ordering, delivery, and gift card purchases are provided by third parties under their own terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Site unlawfully or fraudulently; submit false information or sign up on behalf of others without their permission; send spam or automated sign-ups; interfere with the Site's security or operation; scrape, harvest, or reverse-engineer the Site; or upload malicious code.

6. Intellectual property

The Site and its content, including the GEN name, logos, emblem, photographs, text, and design, are owned by or licensed to GEN and protected by trademark, copyright, and other laws. You may view the Site for personal, non-commercial use only. No other license is granted.

7. Feedback and submissions

If you send us ideas, reviews, photos, or other submissions, you grant GEN a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use them in connection with our business, subject to our Privacy Policy.

8. Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party services, such as ordering, delivery, maps, social media, and gift cards. We're not responsible for their content, terms, or practices.

9. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We don't guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that location information is always current.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GEN AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PROGRAM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some states don't allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GEN harmless from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.

12. Dispute resolution and governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the consumer-protection laws of your state of residence require otherwise. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, unless we and you agree to resolve it in small-claims court, which is always available for qualifying claims.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after the change means you accept the revised Terms.
